Prayer Forcus for Week 3 July

And not because we think we can do anything of lasting value by ourselves. Our only power and success comes from God.
2 Corinthians 3:5 (NLT)

This week's prayer focus is very relevant to FBC. We pray for God's provisions not only for the 40 Days of CommUNITY campaign but also for church's ministries, day-to-day operations, church repairs and support for God's workers here at FBC and those abroad.

This Week’s Prayer Focus #1: GOD’S PROVISIONS

1. Pray that God will provide the energy, time, and endurance for all tasks to be done in preparation for the 40 Days of Community.
2. Pray that God will provide the needed volunteers to make each Campaign event successful.
3. Pray that God will provide our church with all of the material resources needed to facilitate this Campaign.
4. Pray that God will provide unity among leaders and ministries in our church, as they give their time and adjust their schedules to meet deadlines.

Prayer is the key that unlocks all the storehouses of God's infinite grace and power. All that God is, and all that God has, is at the disposal of prayer.
R. A. Torrey

This Week’s Prayer Focus#2: THE KICK-OFF EVENT

1. Pray that the Kick-Off message will be one of God’s catalysts that will ignite enthusiasm, participation, and commitment during the 40 Days of Community.
2. Pray for all the churches worldwide that are participating in the Campaign, that their Kick-Off event will go extremely well.
3. Pray for the response of people to the appeal for Host Homes, that God would move in hearts and cause a groundswell of response to this challenge.

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations
. - Psalm 33:11 (NIV)

Tomorrow I plan to work, work from early until late. In fact, I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.
M. Luther
