Focus on the Prayer Team

Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. “ - Psalm 5:1-3

The 40 Days of CommUNITY hasn't started yet but feverish preparations are now being carried out by the Prayer Team. Led by Bro. Jan Madio, this group has organized prayer warriors to commit the 40-day campaign to the Lord.

Pray For Our Brethren This Week

"What the Church needs to-day is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can use -- men of prayer, men mighty in prayer. The Holy Ghost does not flow through methods, but through men. He does not come on machinery, but on men. He does not anoint plans, but men -- men of prayer." -E. M. Bounds

1. Please intercede for Uncle Ben, Bro. Oliver's Uncle, who is now comatose in a hospital in Puerto Princesa City in Palawan. Pray for healing both physical and spiritual.

2. Kindly pray for Bro. Jigger Sementilla who left on Saturday, July 1, 2006 for an overseas work. Pray for safety and good health as he works on board a ship. Pray that the Lord will continue to use Bro, Jigger to reach to out to other crew members.

3. Pray also for the health of Bebian (Sta. Cruz Compound Cell Group) as she is on her 7th month of pregnancy. Pray also for God's provision for her medicines including insulin.

Better Together

Earlier this year we gave you a hint about a great opportunity coming up called 40 Days of CommUNITY that would allow everyone in FBC to reach out together to our respective communities. Beginning August 13 our church will exert a united effort to make Christ known to our neighbors, communities and even in the whole Novaliches area as we go through this 40 days campaign - because we are BETTER TOGETHER.

Here is what you can do now:
1.HOST A SMALL GROUP. If you have been attending FBC for a while and wanted to serve Christ by hosting a small group, now is the time.
2.JOIN A SMALL GROUP. Whether you are new to FBC or has been worshipping there for a 5 years but have never joined a small group, now is the best time.
